Since District 1 Convention and Board meetings, I have had a couple of opportunities that have been very enjoyable. In our presentation to our own Restauration Lodge, we shared ninety-one pictures of Convention as we reported on our busy time and then, invited members to make a gnome based on the troll class at Convention. Kathleen Almelien created the delightful creature pictured. As Zone 7 Director, I attended Valdres Lodge (1-503) in Decorah, meeting many great members. It’s wonderful when we make connections and recognize the commonality we have with fellow Sons of Norway members. Their program was our own Restauration Lodge member Kathleen Almelien sharing information about her extensive Sølje collection. Check out Valdres’ Facebook page for pictures.
